It's about a tiny wonder….

My name is Sam De Praeter, a Belgium made architect and woodworker.

I designed and built this tiny house that you can discover on this page, it was built with the intention of lasting 100 years, mainly using sustainable materials. 

 

The idea of creating a little house that can be installed somewhere surrounded full of nature, still remain mobile and have a reasonable building and living cost made it very interesting. The Tiny house idea came to life in 2021 and the building process ended In the beginning of 2023.

The website is to show and explain to all of you all the living qualities and technical aspects of the tiny house.

I lived in the tiny house with my girlfriend for a year on a beautiful farm. It felt very calming to come home in full nature and still have a comfortable warm little house. Personally, living in my tiny house with two people worked out fine. I am a minimalist and love the outdoors but sometimes in Belgium it gets pretty cold in winter times :). If you are a small family it could be a challenge to manage the daily tasks.
